Clerk of Works

We are looking for an experienced Clerk of Works to join our team. 

The candidate will work with our project teams on various new-build and refurbishment projects. The role will involve regular site inspections on predominantly residential developments, checking the contractor’s compliance with the contract drawings, specifications, Building Regulations and Building Warranty standards. The production of reports using tablet-based reporting systems will be required, following each visit. You will carry out snagging inspections before Practical Completion and issue lists of identified defects.

The candidate will ideally be from a technical or trade background and have a minimum of five years of experience in a construction role. A membership of the ICWCI (institute of Clerks of Works and Construction Inspectorate of GB Inc.) or equivalent, is also preferred but not essential.

This role will suit a Fire Protection Inspector or a Clerk of works. The candidate will be able to demonstrate good understanding to Approve document B (Part B) and BS9999 of building standards in the inspection.
