Keith Kirkwood is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors the Institution of Arbitrators and the Chartered Institute of Civil Engineering Surveyors as well as a Member of the Institute of Directors. He is Chairman of the Society of Construction Law and Active in the Adjudication Society. Keith is a well respected figure with nearly 40 years experience in the construction industries.

Keith started his career with John Laing one of the UK’s largest civil engineering contractors and has since worked with property developers, clients, contractors, sub-contractors. He founded Schofield Lothian in 1986 and developed it into a £14million turnover company making it one of the top 10 UK Quantity Surveying Companies in the UK. Keith sold the business to Accord PLC in 2002. Keith has knowledge of all areas of construction and has worked in over 20 countries around the globe and has lectured on a variety of topics. He has a proven track record of success as a negotiator, mediator, arbitrator, adjudicator and expert.

Much of his career has been spent working for large international contractors and consultants both in the UK and overseas. As well as taking responsibility for the day to day management of the business, Nigel’s area of specialism is project management.

Having previously held board level positions both within the construction and manufacturing sectors Nigel brings significant strategic experience and leadership skills to the direction and management of the business.

With a strong focus on customer service and a proactive approach to business development, Nigel along with business partner Keith Kirkwood has developed a clear vision for the future successful growth of the company both in the UK and internationally.

Leaving Parkstone Grammar School after completing her A Levels, Vikki decided that University wasn’t the right path for her.  Upon leaving school she placed herself within a business environment pretty quickly. After a few years as PA to the Managing Director & Sales Director of an automation company she craved to start her career in a business that could offer her commitment, growth and personal development. She then found Bennington Green….

Vikki joined Bennington Green in April 2014 as the Office and Business Development Manager and in 2015 was invited to be a member of the board as a Business Director. Working closely with the CEO & Managing Director she is involved in every aspect of managing the groups business, from the management of all of the offices administration to the overseeing of the accounts and business development. She has been the key driver for the new cloud based accounting and document management systems which are essential parts of continuing the business growth.

With regards to Business Development Vikki manages the business’s submission of bids for contracts as well as organising and attending a variety of networking and marketing events.

Ryan is a Chartered Quantity Surveyor being a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, a Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and he is also an Incorporate member of the Chartered Institute of Building. Ryan has a Masters Degree in Construction Law and Dispute Resolution and has a particular interest in delay analysis and commercial recovery.

Ryan began his career as a sponsored student with Alfred McAlpine Civil Engineering combining full time education with placements during the academic breaks and the ‘sandwich’ year of his course. Ryan subsequently spent eight years working for Main Contractors undertaking various Civil Engineering and Building contracts before founding his own consultancy practice in 2006 providing commercial and contractual services to contractors, subcontractors and employers.

Ryan joined Bennington Green in 2010 to amalgamate his commercial and legal orientation to provide support to the project management, building surveying and commercial divisions and to promote and deliver the commercial and dispute resolution services. Whilst at Bennington Green Ryan has undertaken various senior level assignments where he has proven invaluable to his clients leading the procurement, commercial and contractual processes of projects including pre and post construction activities.

Harriet is a rule s15 Barrister with over 15 years’ experience, she heads up the Contract and Legal Services department which services a wide client base. The team act for clients in both transactional and contentious matters across a variety of sectors including residential, commercial and infrastructure.

Currently their client base includes an international professional services and investment management company, a national contractor specialising in retail, student accommodation and commercial, a specialist marine contractor, national and international residential developers and a national house builder for whom they carry out a wide variety of work.

Damon Green founded Bennington Green Associates in 1992. He is a Chartered Building Surveyor being a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors holding a Bachelor of Science degree in building surveying.

Damon has been in private firms of chartered building surveyors since graduating in 1984 and became an associate in his former practice in 1990 and Director of Bennington Green associates Ltd in 1992 having twenty six years experience as a qualified Chartered Building Surveyor.

He has served on the Wessex Branch ABE Committee since 1988, being appointed Chairman between 1990 and 1992 and continues to practice as a Consultant Chartered Building Surveyor for Bennington Green.

Phil is a Chartered Surveyor with a wide range of experience in Building Surveying, Property Management and Facilities Management within the commercial property industry in both consultancy and client roles. Phil brings with him over 25 years of Building Surveying experience in both the commercial and residential sectors and has been a Chartered Surveyor since 2004. Phil has a wealth of commercial experience having worked, contractor and client side, and for public and private employers.

Phil is responsible for the delivery of the technical services of Building Surveying and Project Management within the Bournemouth office. Managing the team of surveyors and designers to ensure the quality and consistency of our service delivery exceeds expectations and to grow the business locally.

Gerard’s broad experience equips him to offer the best surveying expertise across a broad range of areas from property diagnostic investigations, property surveys, right through expert witness reporting & court appearance, architectural design & planning approvals and party wall surveying.

Gerard (or Ged as he is known) Malloy completed his Bachelor of Science degree in building surveying in 1980 gaining membership of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors as an MRICS in 1982 after further experience as a Building Surveyor in private practice.  Along the way he gained extensive design, Contract Management, diagnostic and insurance experience in two further positions with a County Council and Loss Adjusters.  In 1982 Ged founded his Building Surveying practice, obtaining Fellow level chartership as an FRICS in 1994.  He continues to run the practice successfully since joining forces with Bennington Green as Consultant Chartered Surveyor in the summer of 2016.

Simon Bentley BSc (Hons)

Simon is a highly versatile construction professional. He is a Building Surveyor by training, well versed in both project and construction management, planning, design co-ordination and commercial management.

Earlier in his career Simon spent 4 years with Currie and Brown followed by 9 years with Schofield Lothian Ltd consistently delivering high quality projects for a number of blue chip clients to exacting client requirements resulting in excellent feedback. Simon has built up a wide range of experience in the private and public sectors within the construction industry including local government, private sector refurbishment and fit out projects and new build. His experience also extends to construction and facilities management in the pharmaceuticals industry. Simon trained as a building surveyor with a provincial local authority before further developing his skills in project management and then making the transition into commercial management in 2010.Since 2010 Simon has worked with a number of high profile contractors, developers and property services organisations.

Simon joined Bennington Green in late 2016 and is responsible for the delivery of the technical services of Building Surveying, Commercial and Project Management within the London office. Managing the team of surveyors and designers to ensure the quality and consistency of our service delivery exceeds expectations and to grow the business locally.
