The lodge

Introduction

The Lodge is a Grade II Listed building, which had fallen into a poor condition. VenaSpace purchased the property to sympathetically renovate the building, to create a flexible commercial office space which maintained the original historic features and the buildings original, whilst offering a modern, bright, and fun environment.

Our Approach

Bennington Green were engaged on a mixed Project Management and Quantity Surveyor appointment and worked tirelessly with the client to ensure that all requirements under the listed building constraints were adhered to, whilst delivering a practical, commercially viable property, which forms part of their flexible commercial portfolio. Our engagement covered all elements of Project Management, Contract Administration and Quantity Surveying. We  also facilitated and managed the removal of the extensively damaged existing roof, working with specialist contractors to restore the decorative, domed vaulted ceiling using traditional methods and materials.
