Bennington Green were appointed by NatWest Bank to undertake the Fund Monitoring on an ambitious 9,500 sq.ft speculative private residence development refurbishing and extending an existing bungalow into a prime luxury house with a design inspired by the iconic ‘Fallingwater House’ by Frank Lloyd Wright.
We undertook the Fund Monitoring service on this project and provided an initial appraisal of the development and provided interim monthly reports as required to review the developer’s draw downs. This was a particularly challenging project both technically and commercially and unfortunately the original contractor was unable to complete the build and the developer took on the construction works directly. During this time an alternative funder was sourced by the developer, and we were retained by MSP Capital in the same capacity. During the project our role was extended to incorporate a detailed review of the developer’s expenditure and monitoring against a cost to complete budget highlighting any deviations.
