Bennington Green were engaged to deliver a programme of 22 maintenance assessments across the Care South southern portfolio of care homes, to be delivered within a constrained timeframe. The properties in question consisted generally of large care facilities of between 40-60 units (approximately), several which were subject to statutory protection because of their historic value.
A delivery plan was produced with properties programmed accordingly to their size and location, from which access was coordinated with the Client. A standardised report format was produced to ensure the data collected could be easily analysed and be of maximum value to the Client. Our inspections assessed the condition of the properties, their maintenance requirements over the next 20 years, along with anticipated expenditure for such work. This included all elements of the building fabric, services, along with compliance to statutory obligations.
