Bennington Green is delighted to announce the merger of Blue Sky ADR the modern and innovative dispute resolution consultancy into our Dispute Resolution business. The new business will trade as Bennington Green Blue Sky ADR.

Blue Sky ADR have built up an enviable reputation for the quality of their dispute avoidance and dispute resolution services.  The new business will be headed by Peter Barnes supported by Matthew Davies and the rest of the existing Blue Sky ADR team. Peter has been actively involved in construction for over 40 years and sits on the JCT Council. He is the past chairman of both the East Anglia region of the CIArb and the Anglia and Central region of the CICES. He is also the author or Co-author of six highly rated construction books.

Keith Kirkwood Bennington Green’s CEO said: “I am delighted to welcome the whole Blue Sky team to Bennington Green. I have known and respected Peter for many years as both a colleague and a friend. This merger is terrific news for both our businesses significantly enhancing our overall capabilities. He added, “There are some very exciting times ahead for our newly merged dispute businesses and this move enhances the overall service offering to both Bennington Green and Blue Sky ADR’s clients past, present and future.”

Peter Barnes, MD of the new Bennington Green Blue Sky ADR said: “We have been talking about this merger between the two companies for only a couple of months but right from the outset we established that we had the same core values across the two firms and therefore it was an easy decision to make. The existing offices in Central London, Dorset, Surrey, Essex and the Bahamas will now be supplemented by Blue Sky ADR’s impressive office and training suite in Waltham Abbey.
