Smokey’s, Ashley Road

The works comprised the refurbishment of the well-known Smokey’s fast food restaurant in Ashley Road, Poole. Smokey’s is a one storey flat roof building with a basement storage area for storing foods and materials. Bennington Green were involved in the full refurbishment works of the property following the fire which damaged a significant amount of the property.

Bennington Green were instructed to inspect the property following the initial emergency making safe works. Bennington Green visited site and specified the full refurbishment of the property including the ground floor kitchen and customer waiting area, the basement storage area and the basement bathroom. This project was procured and ran under a JCT Minor Works Building Contract with a strict cost and time budget. Bennington Green were able to fully refurbish the property, and deliver the project on time and under budget so the client could occupy the property and reopen as planned.
