Our Story
Bennington Green Associates was originally formed in 1992 by Damon Green to provide Building Surveying services primarily locally within the Bournemouth and Poole conurbations. The company at this time was primarily owned, managed and delivered by Damon Green and serviced primarily residential clients. The company gathered an enviable reputation locally for delivering a first-class service with a significant proportion of the instructions coming from repeat clients.
In August 2005, the company was acquired and Bennington Green Ltd was formed. The company was taken forwards by Nigel Soloman, a Chartered Civil Engineer, and Keith Kirkwood, a Chartered Quantity Surveyor with Damon Green remained actively involved and the evolution of the business, which saw the company grow and form into a multi-disciplinary practice.
In 2016 the company was re-organised with Ryan Greening and Victoria Jones appointed as Directors along with Nigel and Keith. This instigated the next phase of the company’s development, as Keith retired as a Director as of 2019. Ryan, a dual qualified Chartered Quantity Surveyor and Building Surveyor, was brought in to lead the technical aspects of the service delivery and Victoria was charged with the operational control of the company. This structure remains in place to this day.
The company has grown significantly since 2005, and we now work for a broad range of clients and we continue to introduce new complimentary services to our offering. We presently provide a full suite of construction consultancy solutions, primarily across the south of England (although we have worked all over the world).
The company was started with the intention of being different, providing a professional, knowledgeable, practical and flexible approach to our services and outperforming all of our competitors to deliver a better service for our clients. We believe we have achieved this and we continue striving to innovate in order to maintain and enhance our high level of service delivery.
